1What our accreditation means
Accreditation is not a self-declaration. To carry the SAC-SINGLAS mark, our laboratory's technical competence, equipment, methods and quality system are independently assessed by the Singapore Accreditation Council against the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 — and re-assessed on an ongoing basis. When you see accreditation no. LA-2023-0845-C, it means a third party has verified that we are competent to perform the calibrations within our accredited scope.
2ISO/IEC 17025 — the international standard
ISO/IEC 17025 is the globally recognised standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. It governs everything from measurement methods and equipment control to staff competency, environmental conditions and the calculation of measurement uncertainty. A calibration performed under ISO/IEC 17025 is one your quality system — and your auditor — can rely on.
3Traceable to Singapore's National Metrology Centre
Every accredited calibration we issue is traceable through an unbroken chain to Singapore's National Metrology Centre (NMC) and the SI units of measurement. Traceability is what makes a measurement meaningful beyond our four walls: it links your instrument's reading back to the national standard, so the number on your certificate means the same thing to your customers, regulators and auditors as it does to us.
4What's on every certificate
- The accreditation mark and number — so the certificate is recognised as accredited work.
- Stated measurement uncertainty on every result — the ± that tells you how much confidence to place in the reading.
- Full traceability statement back to national / SI standards.
- As-found / as-left data where applicable, so drift is documented.
Our certificates are audit-ready and accepted in ISO 9001 audits — they exist to make your compliance easier, not harder.
5Our calibration disciplines
We calibrate across the disciplines below, in our Singapore laboratory or on-site islandwide at your facility:
We calibrate instruments from Fluke, Hioki, Yokogawa, Druck, Kikusui, Sanwa, Lutron, Extech, Amprobe and more — regardless of where they were purchased.
6The official mark & documents
Our accreditation can be independently verified through the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) public register of accredited laboratories, under accreditation no. LA-2023-0845-C. Below are our official mark and the documents behind it.
The Schedule (Scope) of Accreditation lists the exact parameters, ranges and best measurement capabilities we are accredited for — the document your auditor will want to see.
